Interactions:
- Leukeran increases the concentration of uric acid, which lowers the effect of antipodagric medicines, such as Allopurinol, Colchicine, Probenecid or Sulfinpyrazone, when treated from hyperuricemia and podagra (the dosages of antipodagric medicines should be corrected).

- Uricosuric agents increase the risk of nephropathy.

- Other myelotoxic medicines, radiation therapy may potentiate the development of myelodepression (neutropenia, thrombocytopenia).

- Leukeran is compatible with other cytostatic medications in combined chemotherapy (Methotrexate, Phthoruracilum) and also with Prednisolone

- If Leukeran is taken together with immunodepressants (glucocorticosteroids, azathioprine, corticotrophin, cyclophosphamide, cyclosporine, cytarabine, mercaptopurine) the risk of getting an infection and secondary tumors increases.

- If Leukeran is taken together with phenylbutazone there is a possibility that poisonous effect of Chlorambucil (and active ingredient of Leukeran) will be increased (the dosage might need to be reduced).

- Leukeran weakens the effectiveness of immunization by inactivated vaccines; When using living-virus vaccine Leukeran intensifies virus replication and side-effects of vaccination.
