What is Proscar?
Proscar is a medication used for treating the condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, which is when the prostate is enlarged. What the medication does is it prevents testosterone from converting into DHT. DHT, which is short for dihydrotestosterone, is a known influencer that causes the enlargement of the prostate.

What Should I Know About Proscar?
As this is a specific medication for men, women and children should not take Proscar. This medication contains Finasteride, which shouldn’t be in contact with any children or women. When storing this medication, it needs to be kept at room temperature and away from the reach of children.
