Therapeutic actions:
Benzalkonium chloride is very effective against gram-positive bacteria. It has a strong antimycotic effect on Candida albicans and on some lipophile viruses. Benzalkonium chloride destroys different types of yeast.

What is it used for?
Septolete is used:
• to treat mild infections of mouth and throat
• as a protection during influenza and cold
• to treat inflammation of gums and oral mucosa
• hoarseness
Contraindications and cautions:
- Hypersensitivity.
- Children under 4 years old.
Side effects:
